How it Works

The 10.10 System is designed to provide a simple and effective process for the disinfection of soft, hard and gas permeable lenses. It takes only 10 minutes to clean and disinfect your lenses with 10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution and 10 minutes to rinse and neutralise your lenses with 10.10 Rinsing and Neutralising Solution. After cleaning and disinfecting the lenses in 10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution they must always be neutralised in 10.10 Rinsing and Neutralising Solution before wearing.

Instructions for use

• wash your hands and dry them with a clean towel
• always start with the same eye to avoid confusion

If recommended by your eye-care practitioner, clean lenses with a suitable cleaner such as MIRAFLOW Ensure that the cleaner has been thoroughly rinsed from the lenses with sterile saline such as CIBA Vision SALINE before beginning the disinfection process.

Disinfection - STEP 1

• Place lenses in appropriate compartments of the lens holder
• Fill lens cup to upper line with 10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution
• Replace lens holder and close the case • Gently shake lens case several times
• Allow lenses to soak for not less than 10 minutes or overnight if required

If you do not intend to wear your lenses immediately they can be stored in 10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution for up to 4 weeks before re-disinfection.

Neutralising - STEP 2

BEFORE WEARING YOUR LENSES YOU MUST CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE NEUTRALISATION STAGE. IF THIS STAGE IS NOT CARRIED OUT, DISINFECTION SOLUTION MAY REMAIN IN YOUR LENSES AND CAUSE A BURNING SENSATION.

• Discard the 10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution
• Shake excess solution from the lens holder
• Fill cup to the lower line with 10.10 Rinsing and Neutralising Solution
• Close and gently shake several times, discard the solution
• Fill the cup with the remaining solution, close and shake
• Allow lenses to soak for not less than 10 minutes
• Your lenses are now ready to wear
• Discard the solution

It is important to keep your 10.10 lens holder and cup clean and free from contamination

• rinse the 10.10 lens holder and cup daily with sterile saline such as CIBA Vision SALINE
• allow them to air-dry by inverting the lens holder outside the cup
• it is recommended that the 10.10 lens holder and cup are replaced at least every 3-6 months

If recommended by your eye-care practitioner, remove protein from your lenses with a suitable protein remover such as Unizyme according to the protein remover's instructions for use

If the lenses remain in 10.10 Rinsing and Neutralising Solution for more than 24 hours at a time, the above procedure should be repeated

• Once bottle is open, discard any remaining solution after 3 months
• Close bottle after use and store away from direct sunlight
• Store below 25°C

• Store below 25°C

Warnings (general)

• ALWAYS USE THE 10.10 SYSTEM COMPONENTS
• DO NOT SUBSTITUTE WITH COMPONENTS FROM ANY OTHER LENS CARE SYSTEMS
• Always use fresh solutions - never re-use
• Never use tap water with contact lenses
• Consult your doctor or eye-care practitioner before using any eye-medication with contact lenses
• KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN

Warnings (10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution)

• DO NOT ALLOW 10.10 CLEANING AND DISINFECTING SOLUTION TO COME INTO DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE EYE: 10.10 CLEANING AND DISINFECTING SOLUTION IS A HIGHLY EFFECTIVE DISINFECTANT WHICH WILL CAUSE A BURNING SENSATION. If this happens accidentally, immediately rinse the open eye with plenty of clean water
• Never use 10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution for rinsing your lenses
• If 10.10 Cleaning and Disinfecting Solution is swallowed immediately drink large amounts of water and consult your doctor

Adverse reactions

If you experience persistent discomfort or irritation remove your lenses, stop using the product and consult your eye-care practitioner
