Focus PLUS is an All-in-One solution that cleans, rinses, disinfects, stores, removes protein and lubricates all soft contact lenses.

DESCRIPTION

An isotonic, aqueous solution containing polyhexanide 0.0001 % as the active ingredient and preservative, sodium chloride, bis-tris propane, cremophor, poloxamer 407, and disodium edetate.

STERILE Processed by aseptic techniques.

Contains no chlorhexidine and no thiomersal.

This solution offers everything that you need for correct and complete lens care.

Focus PLUS can be used in two ways;

• No Rub/No Rinse
• The 5-Minute Option

To ensure the proper disinfection of your contact lenses, you must follow the appropriate instructions completely.

NO RUB/NO RINSE

• always wash your hands and dry them with a clean towel before handling your contact lenses

Always start with the same eye to avoid confusion!

• open the lens case
• place the contact lens in the lens case and fill one side to the line with fresh Focus PLUS
• replace cap and screw closed

Repeat the procedure with your other contact lens

• ALLOW YOUR LENSES TO SOAK FOR AT LEAST 4 HOURS. No rubbing or rinsing is required.
• your contact lenses are now clean and disinfected and may be inserted directly into your eyes
• discard solution from lens case and rinse it with Focus PLUS. Leave lens case open to air dry
• if the contact lenses have been stored in Focus PLUS comfort for more than 4 weeks before wearing, you must discard the solution from the lens case and repeat the procedure described above before wearing them

THE 5 MINUTE OPTION

• always wash your hands and dry them with a clean towel before handling your lenses

Always start with the same eye to avoid confusion!

• open the contact lens case
• fill the cup to the fill line with fresh Focus PLUS
• remove lens and place in the palm of your hand
• apply at least 3 drops of Focus PLUS to each lens surface
• gently rub the lens using a backward and forward motion for 10 seconds per side
• rinse the lens thoroughly with Focus PLUS while rubbing the lens gently between the thumb and forefinger
• place the lens in the lens case and fill one side to the line with Focus PLUS
• replace cap and screw closed

Repeat the procedure with your other lens

• ALLOW YOUR CONTACT LENSES TO SOAK FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES.
• for protein removal, allow your contacrt lenses to soak for at least 4 hours
• your contact lenses are now clean and disinfected and may be inserted directly into your eyes
• discard solution from contact lens case and rinse it with Focus PLUS. Leave lens case open to air dry
• if the contact lenses have been stored in Focus PLUS for more than 4 weeks before wearing, you must discard the solution from the lens case and repeat the manual cleaning process and disinfect the lenses in Focus PLUS for at least 5 minutes before wearing them

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients
• Never use Focus PLUS for heat disinfection

PRECAUTIONS

• Check bottle seal is intact before first use
• If already broken do not use
• Sterile until bottle seal is broken
• Once bottle is opened, discard any remaining solution after 3 months
• Do not use after expiry date
• Consult your eye-care practitioner before changing solutions
• Close bottle after use and store below 25°C
• Replace contact lens case with every new bottle of Focus PLUS
• Never touch the dropper tip of the bottle to any surface, since this may contaminate the solution

WARNINGS

• ALWAYS USE THE Focus PLUS SYSTEM COMPONENTS INCLUDING THE LENS CASE
• DO NOT SUBSTITUTE WITH COMPONENTS FROM ANY OTHER LENS CARE SYSTEM.
  To ensure the correct use of the product, the lens case recommended by CIBA Vision must be used
• KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN
• Consult your eye-care practitioner before using any medication with contact lenses
• Always use fresh Focus PLUS solution - never re-use solution in your lens case for a second time
• Never expose contact lenses to any non-sterile water as microbial contamination can occur, which may lead to permanent eye damage

ADVERSE REACTIONS

If you experience persistent discomfort or irritation remove your lenses, stop using the product and consult your eye-care practitioner
